Mother at the Door - A Painting

This is a typical woman of Telangana.
In a typical Telangana home!
Look at the door smeared with Jaju, the red colored dye.
Notice the Toranam of mango leaves,
The raksha tied to the upper shaft of the door is conspicuous.
It tells that the festival is long gone, the leaves are dry!
Notice the three doors in a row and you would appreciate the depth in the painting.
Notice the slit opening above the shaft.

Mother has some flour or dough stuck on her fingers of her right hand.
She came out just because someone called!

The painter is Srinivas from Nalgonda district.
I do not anything more about him.
I found this painting in the proceedings of a medical conference!
How does it matter?

A good painting is just that! A Good Painting!
