నిజమే, మీరన్న మాటలు మేము ఒప్పలేదు నిజమే

అనుమానమే లేదు, ప్రభువుల ప్రతాపము కూడ మైత్రి కదా

అవును మీరేమి చేసినను అది పద్ధతిగనే

మరియు మేము మంచి దారి నడుచుట ఎరుగము గదా

వచ్చినను ఎట్లు, కలకాలము మా మీద దయయే

మరచినది ఎట్లు, మరి మీకు మాకు పరిచయమే లేదు గదా

బాధలకు కొంత శమనము కోరితిని తప్పే

నాకంటె బాధ పడువారు భువిని మరి ఎందరో గదా

గాయముల తలపు చేయుట నిజమగు నేరమే

వారి విషపు బాణాల ఒడుపును మెచ్చలేకుండుటదేల గదా

వైద్యులకు తమ వృత్తి మనసున నచ్చలేదంతే

కాక నా బాధలంత మందు లేనివి కావు గదా

పెదవులవి బతుకు చేదును రుచి చూచెనంతే

లేకున్న నాకు చేదుతనము సహజము కాదు గదా

Sri Nanduri Ramakrishnamacharya garu blessed em with his padyam.
We exchanged padyams.
He liked my padyams.
That is a different story altogether.
We used to meet and talk often.
It would always be about poetry and literature.

He knew that I was a student of science and write popular science.
So, he wrote a letter one day!
In that he called me Gopala Vignani.
He was a Gnani and called me a Vignani!
Yes, I remain a man of science even today!

I feel blessed even today!!
