Dautyamu - An old work of art

Dautyamu is an act of sending a message.
Indian poets imagined that a swan could be a go between for two lovers.
The image is a visualisation of Hamsa Sandesham, The Swan message!

This is picked up from a really old issue of a Telugu magazine, Bharati.
Veeraraghava is the artist.

    ఈ బొమ్మ వేసింది చందమామ ప్రముఖ చిత్రకారుడు ‘చిత్రా’ అనిపిస్తోంది. బొమ్మ తీరు అలాగే ఉంది. పైగా చిత్రా అసలు పేరు టి.వి. రాఘవులు. ‘వి’ అంటే వీర అనుకుంటాను!

    I have forgotten the fact that it's an English blog. So I commented in Telugu.

    I think, the artist is none other than the famous illustrator 'Chitra' of Chandamama. HIs real name is T.V. Raghavulu.

    ఇది ఖచ్చితంగా చిత్రా గీసిన బొమ్మే! అప్పుడు చందమామ లేక పోవచ్చు కానీ చిత్రా అనబడే టి. వీర రాఘవన్ ఉన్నాడుగా!
